Mutualism

I find this word, and indeed its meaning,

to be profound and to be leaning

toward a deeper way to be

If someone wants to be with me.

It is a word that clearly shows

just what any great friendship already knows

both sides will lean in toward the center

and at times rely on the other as their strength.

Each side showing stability, but also a weakness,

a substance they seek from each other, they take what they need

while supplying the other side’s missing pieces.

At times one side requires more; support, attention,

and even adore.
